Key Responsibilities:

  • Drives and/or supports technology and/or operational business projects, as or within defined scope

  • Handles projects or work with a defined scope in own discipline and typically has short term focus

  • Works with guidance on small to mid-size projects

  • Works as a liaison with business and PMO areas with respect to scoping, reviewing and finalizing project requirements

  • Identifies and documents detailed operational readiness requirements for systems enhancements based on knowledge of business needs

  • Ability to identify and support readiness activities needed for successful implementation of initiatives

  • Makes practical suggestions for improving work processes in own area

  • Solves problems in own specialty area, drives continuous improvement and best practices within the team and vendor relationships

  • Drive continuous process improvement and increase operations efficiency.

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and internal supervisory control procedures

  • Lead associates through a changing environment while maintaining focus on the overall strategy

  • Support the implementation of MMLIS’s strategic initiatives

  • Deliver the highest level of service to our field, internal clients, and instill a service culture in the team

  • Conduct meetings to discuss strategy and help streamline procedures

Basic Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years of related Broker-Dealer operations experience

  • HS degree

  • Qualified Candidates must be authorized to work in the US for any employer without requiring Visa Sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • FINRA licenses a plus

  • Skill in working with all levels of the organization including both internal & external business partners

  • Assist with training and developing team members

  • Superior written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills

  • Listening skills

  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills

  • Time management (multi-tasking)

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal guidance

  • Creative/open-minded

  • Strong service attitude and the ability to instill in others

  • Negotiation skills
