POSITION SUMMARY

MassMutual has a multi-year technology strategy across Client Computing, Messaging and Collaboration, Meetings and Events and Voice &Telephony that will modernize the technology our workforce uses, and enable collaboration across multiple locations. The Strategic Consultant will be accountable to develop and implement a change management strategy that drives user awareness, adoption and proficiency in the new technology set.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Help our 10,000 person, home office population understand new technologies, the technology changes, to desire these changes, to adopt them and help teach them how to use them.

  • Understand the field and employee productivity technology roadmaps

  • Develop solid working relationship with the change employees and the communications teams

  • Begin to stand up change coalition across balance of organization

  • Draft and socialize Change Management Strategy that includes how we use multiple channels available within MM to develop awareness and enthusiasm.

  • Create creative strategy for how we train and ensure readiness and reinforce.

  • Generate demand for new technologies instead of just pushing them out.

  • Utilize the tools at our disposal to create communications that hit the mark.

  • Leverage our digital natives to help our all professionals become more technically adept.

  • Assess talent we have for deployment.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools

  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Ability to influence others

  • Resiliency; able to work in ambiguous situations

  • Problem solving and root cause identification skills

  • Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with and through others

  • Acute business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges

  • Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle

  • Experience with large-scale organizational change efforts

  • Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future
